What does the MOT include?
Each MOT station will vary; however, the MOT itself should always include standard tests and checks accruing to law. Our trained and experienced technicians will assess your vehicle in our designated MOT test bay using the required range of equipment.
When your car’s ready to collect we’ll give you a call, or you can just pop in to pick it up after work.

Information about the DVSA
The DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency) replaced VOSA (Vehicle and Operator Services Agency) in April 2014. The DVSA is the government agency responsible for supervising the MOT scheme. You can learn more about the DVSA on their official website.
What’s covered in the MOT test?
When you book your MOT at our Leeds service centre, you will receive one of three outcomes from an MOT test:
Pass
Your vehicle has had the appropriate checks and is deemed road worthy. You will receive a certificate valid for 12 months. This does not mean your vehicle will be roadworthy throughout the 12 months.
Passed, with advisory items listed
Your vehicle is safe to use, however there are some items that need to be checked regularly and replaced when appropriate. I.e. Tyre tread depth is nearing the legal minimum requirement.
Fail
Your vehicle did not pass the inspection, and a standard VT30 ‘failure’ document is issued with listed items detailing the failure. You have the option to fix these failed items if available, and before we do this, we will always notify you first, so you don’t get any nasty surprises when you pick up your vehicle.
